1. Purpose — Platform Operator Information
In accordance with applicable consumer law, Team Up informs users of the main parameters that determine the ranking and display of coaches and sessions on the Platform. This page describes the criteria currently in use and will be updated if there are significant changes.
2. Session Display Criteria
- Geographic proximity: sessions displayed first are those nearest to the user's location (with their permission).
- Chronological order: at equal distance, sessions with the nearest start date appear first.
- Selected sport: only sessions matching the sport filters chosen by the user are displayed.

3. Coach/Pro Display Criteria
- Geographic proximity: coaches closest to the user appear first.
- Availability: coaches with upcoming sessions are highlighted over those with no scheduled session.

4. Pro / Non-Pro Distinction
- Verified professional coaches are identified by a "Verified Pro" badge visible on their profile and session cards.
- This badge confirms that the Coach has provided the required documents (professional sports educator card, RC Pro insurance) and that they have been manually verified by the Team Up team.
- Users organising free community sessions do not hold this badge and are clearly distinguished from Pro Coaches.
5. No Paid Ranking
At this stage, no ranking or promotion is conditioned on a payment or premium subscription from Coaches. All verified coaches benefit from equal treatment in search results. If Team Up introduces a paid promotion option in the future, this page will be updated and users will be informed.
6. Evolution of Criteria
Ranking and display criteria may evolve as the Platform develops. In the event of a material change, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated. For any questions: hello@teamup.app.
